In the 1980s, Ephesus was home to only 20,000 fishermen. Today the city is home to more than 18 Million people, mostly native to Turkey, but immigrants to the city. The current hustle and bustle creates a different environment for ministry, as there are ridiculously rich people side by side to farmers just getting by.
As we continue to understand our changing environment, we will be able to meet people's felt needs, and move to their spiritual needs, inviting them to be part of Christ's family.
