Tidal Wave of Light April 2006 There I was standing there during worship in Perspectives class one Saturday morning. We were singing one of my favorite worship songs, How Great is Our God. I closed my eyes and was then no longer able to sing. It was then that the Lord gave me this vision. As in class, in the vision also, I was standing there by myself. Instantly I saw a massive tidal wave 30 stories tall. Tidal waves aren't cute and friendly, they are fierce and destroy all that is in the way- so also as this tidal wave. One exception, this tidal wave wasn't of water, but of light, coming with ferocity and trembling the ground as it was rushing towards me. Then on this tidal wave of light, I saw a chariot- also made of light. In this chariot, I saw a man also made of light. Then quickly I saw in the hand of the man of light, standing on the chariot of light, riding the tidal wave of light, was a very large broadsword- made of light. Instantly when I saw the broadsword, I said a prayer in my heart: "Dear Lord, may my family whom does not yet know you be invited up into your chariot!" You see, Jesus is indeed coming back! He's not coming to have tea and biscuits with us. He's not going to give us another chance or bring us presents like old Saint Nick. He's coming to take back what is His. He's coming for His people! "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demonds in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.' Matthew 7:21-23
Worm of Sin
April 2006 Does the Lord speak to us in dreams? He did to me... In my dream while sleeping, I was sitting down wearing shorts without any socks or shoes. Looking down at my left calf, I noticed a small little worm protruding out the thickness of a coffee straw, very wet and slimy. When the worm came an inch out from my calf, I took my two fingers and pinched it at the base, and tossed it away. My calf seemed like there was no markings or anything wrong. Seconds later, the same worm made it's way out of the same place from my calf. This time, after getting about two inches long, I again pinched the worm at it's base and tossed it away. Just as before, there were no markings on my left calf. The third time, the worm came out, someone non chalantly said, "Hey, don't pinch it man, you've got to pull the whole thing out." That made a lot of sense to me, so that is what I did. Slowly, and ever so painfully (there isn't supposed to be anything coming out of skin except for maybe sweat!!! certainly not worms!). This time, the worm wasn't just the thickness of the coffee straw, but got thicker and thicker, until at the base was larger around than my thumb. The total length in my dream of this worm was 15-18 inches long. The worm wasn't that weird, for we've all had our fair share of really weird, even spooky dreams. What was awesome, was that at the moment when I woke up, I knew clearly and confidently that this dream did in fact come from the Lord, and also what the meaning of the dream! Right now, there is nothing outwardly wrong or sinful of me. There will come a point in time when something in me must come out. It may be current sin/transgression, or in the future. When this 'sin' comes out of me, the first time it will be painful. After some prayer and fasting, it will be over relatively quickly. The second time, the time will take a bit longer for the 'sin' to be seemingly gone. Then the third time will be the finale, where much pain, anguish, and hurt will come as the worm is being removed from within me. Upon waking from the dream, it was revealed to me that this worm must come out of me before going to Turkey and fulfilling full time missions work at the edge of the kingdom of heaven. Search me oh God, and know my heart. Test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalms 139: 23-24
